The Car... MEEEEH... MEH MEH MEH... MEEEEH

Alright, I have finally found it.

THE CAR.

Its a '70's flick that has a car going around honking and killing people... they say the devil drives it.

So I was watching a little bit of it and noticed that the area looked really familiar. It ended up being Zion National Park where the first deaths occur. w00t! So when I get time I'm going to try to watch the whole thing.

I voted!

Being a true blood American, I exercised my right to vote and it felt pretty good. Even though some items I voted for didn't pass, its nice that we have the opportunity to voice our opinion and hopefully help the greater good.

Utah sucks.

I know I've said this before, but I have to say it again. Parents here are not willing to take responsiblity and stand up to a system that is failing our children. I'm talking about the Vouchers referendum that failed to pass yesterdays elections. Even though the area I live in does not have any private schools that my children would be able to attend, its the whole concept of taking responsibility for my children's education.

Why I'm so passionate about this issues is because of the experiences our oldest daughter had when she attended 1st grade in public school. I could not believe the attitude of the teachers and the lack of concern on their part in educating these children. YOU CANT EVEN USE THE RESTROOM DURING RECESS so what is a child to do if they really really have to go and cant hold it anymore? Thats right, you guessed it. This was not limited to one instance, it happened several times. Did they care that it happened? Not in the slightest. That is why it saddens me that the voucher program did not pass. It would have sent a message to this messed up system we call public education, that we parents are not willing to stand by anymore and allow this to happen to any other child. Utah already has some of the largest class sizes and the least amount spent per student. Something needs to be done about this, but unfortunately the opportunity was passed up.

Ok, now that is out of my system, lets move on.

I love my wife! She is so awesome and makes beautiful awesome babies. I love the beautiful awesome babies too.

BTW go visit The Perry Bible Fellowship, damn funny stuff.

Got nothin'

I've already missed two days on this month long blog fest... HORRIBLE! Since I'm on a computer for most of the day during the week, I hardly ever touch one on the weekend, but for this I might have to make and exception.

Anyways...

I don't have a damn thing to write about so this is it.

Enjoy.

NaBloPoMo?!? The quest continues...

Alright so this is the official entry into the NaBloPoMo (who chose that?) thing to blog everyday for an entire month. So far I think there are two readers of this, me & my wife (LOVE YOU!). So if there is anyone else out there, leave a comment, let me know you are here and would like to see more of this crazy shiz.

So yea, Hi.

I'm sitting here at work trying to ignore the guy sitting by me that is laughing. I know he is doing it out loud so that I would turn around and say "Whats so funny?" and then he can show me something funny. I'm not going to do it. Nope. Not at all. But since I have ignored his call for attention, he is wondering what all the typing is about, I just told him I'm typing up an email. HA!

The other day saw a teenage kid walking away from Wal-Mart and noticed he was huffing some canned air... wow, cant say I've seen anyone do that before. BUT there is this great mug shot of the guy that did it with a can of gold spray paint.. its great->

Enough fun for now, another day blogged, time to work.

Let the blogfest begin!

So I have been informed that November 2007 is national blog month or some crap like that and people are asked to blog every single day for the whole month.

So here it goes...

Halloween is kinda fun, except when it takes you 2 hours to get home from work because people are idiots and don't know how to drive or whatever... its Utah, most drivers here think that once they get in their ginormous SUV, they are the only ones on the road. No one else exists except them, courtesy is out the one touch down power window and its all them. PLUS they are on the phone blabbing away with jazzy hands (which should probably be on the steering wheel, go figure).

Its frustrating since I commute almost 2 hours each day, seeing all of this happen on a daily basis. What is more frustrating is the lack of use of the turn signals. Last time I checked, these come as standard equipment on ALL car, not as an option. I just don't understand why people can't or won't use them. Its right there, just stretch out some fingers on your left hand and flip it up or down. Dunno.

It sucks, I hate it and im writing about it so that I can get the month long trend going.

Thanks for reading.

Got nothing...

So I haven't been posting as much as I would like. Nothing really funny happened, no funny quip or observation. Maybe I haven't been too attentative to things happening around me, but oh well... something is bound to happen, sometime.

In the mean time, enjoy this->

Weekend...

Another week, another dollar... or something like that.

I propose that weekends be extended by at least two days, just for fun. Especially if it was a crappy weekend, you still have two more days to make up for it.

I love IKEA. Whenever I tell someone they have good food, they get this weird confused look on their face. When you think about it though, it does seem kind of weird that this furniture store actually serves food, good food to boot (Swedish meatballs). But you don't expect to see them serving some type of mini-lobster things instead of the usual open face shrimp sandwich. They may have been crayfish, but there was no label for it... plus it came with little cubes of cheese.

Odd.

It's monday, 2 people already called in to work, its Columbus day, im ready to leave.

This is how I feel:

I've done it.

I gave in.

I kept telling myself i'm never going to do this, but here I am (rock you like a hurricane) posting a blog about whatever, just like others out there... but who knows, something interesting might happen and I can share it.

Actually there is one thing odd I'd like to share.

There is a guy I work with that likes to talk to people in the restroom, which is not cool, its private time... just you and your thoughts. Anyways, so I go walking in, step up to the urinal and do my thing. All of a sudden someone says hi to me from the stalls. I recognize the voice and ask how he knew it was me, he said he saw my shoes. Ok, so he pays attention to my shoes, no problem, some people are weird like that. But to look for shoes as you are taking a dump? YOU HAVE TO BEND OVER AND LOOK UNDERNEATH THE STALL WALL... why? I ask anyone who reads this... why? Why would anyone be looking for shoes while they are laying cable? Mind boggling I know...

Thats it for now.... enjoy this video of Giraffes fighting:
